The Dark and The Grey

I'm not sure when the idea first surfaced on the backside of my brain, but I do know when I decided that the world would be told through the eyes of Jonothon Wyer. He had a problem with his heart and his lungs couldn't breath the thick conditioned air like the rest of the kids. Through his hopeful, but timid perspective I would share the world and the mysteries of Dark and Day...

That was September (Septishrei) of 2006 - I stopped the BS, sat down and started writing.
December (Decsomber) 2007 and the first book is printed and bound in a white folder. The pages are covered in blue and red ink marks and lo, the editing continues...

I got me my query letter, gots a second draft of a synopsis, a few versions of the "DnD" font, a couple art scribblings, a tentative cover art and I am 30k words into the sequel (Dark and Day: The Withering Mark)!

So here's to starting a blog, continuing the journey of adventure and exploration of Jono and his friends (and enemies) and to hopefully getting pooblished and sharing my fun, twisted sci-fi/fantasy world with the rest of the reading massing.

Dream. Plan. Do.
